30-12 in my last 42 Wagers/posts
I really like the NFL Card this week and have 2 posted in that Forum.
I like these two NCAA Plays for this week but both are Small Plays:
***Friday***
Texas Longhorns -27
Over Texas A&M
Don?t worry about laying the Big number because the Longhorns are more than capable of covering this number?in fact Texas has been a double digit favorite the last 3 seasons and have covered all three games!...Texas is 8-1-1 ATS versus the Aggies over the last 10 games and this year they face the WORST A&M team in the last 10+ seasons?the HUGE mismatch is this one is the potent Longhorn Offense led by Heisman Hopeful Vince Young as he faces an A&M Defense that gives up an ave of 455 yds per game?add to that the fact that the Longhorns are playing for a potential BCS Championship Game versus USC?AND?the team would love to let QB Vince Young SHINE in front of a National T.V audience to enhance his stock for the Heisman Trophy?Texas is coming off of a bye week (where they are 17-7-1 ATS after a bye) and have had an extra week to prepare for this game?Texas is 10-0 SU on the season and 9-1 ATS?as you see?Texas has all the incentive in the world to run up the score in this one!
Texas 54 Texas A&M 16
**Saturday**
Notre Dame Fighting Irish -17.5
Over Stanford
I really like this play despite having to lay this amount of points on the road because of several reasons?the Cardinals need to win this game to become Bowl Eligible but they are truly lucky that they are 5-5 SU on the season because they have been out gained by an average of over 100 yards per game this season?to put it mildly?their Defense will struggle to contain Notre Dames High octane Offense?the Irish on the other hand also need to win this game to earn a BCS Bowl Berth and have dominated the Cardinal team as of late?Notre Dame is 7-3 SU and 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings with Stanford and that was before Charlie Weis straighted out the Irish ship?Notre Dame is also 4-0 SU and ATS on the road this season and they couldn?t be facing a Stanford team at a better time because the Cardinal is coming off of their biggest game of the season (a match up with arch rival Cal) and have never beaten the Irish AFTER facing Cal since they are 0-3 SU and 0-3 ATS in those situations!...Bottom Line ? The Irish match up well against the Cardinal and need this game to earn a BCS Bowl bid (which among other things means Money for the institution) and are clearly the much better team?expect them to Roll the Cardinal and run up the score for ranking purposes ?stay undefeated on the Road?and gain a BCS Bowl Berth.
