BRIGHTON, England - June 18, 2006 (UPI) —"" A militant British Muslim imam says both Prime Minister Tony Blair and U.S. President George Bush are “legitimate targets” for terrorist attacks. Abubaker Deghayes made the remarks to an undercover reporter in Brighton for The Times of London, which reported the conversation Sunday.
The reporter spent two weeks at the Al-Quds mosque, which on Fridays, draws 100 to 200 worshippers.
Deghayes reportedly agreed with a Respect party’s member of parliament’s remarks several weeks ago that an attack on the prime minister by a suicide bomber could be morally justified.
“He (Blair) is a legitimate target. Him and Bush are part of all that we see now,” the report quoted him as saying.
The Times said Deghayes then suggested the reporter be careful about discussing his views for fear of prosecution.
“Don’t talk openly ... Now you can be taken in for glorifying terrorism,” the newspaper quoted the imam as saying""......
anybody else think it’s disgraceful that five years after the september 11 attacks, not a single u.s.newspaper has done a similar investigation?.....
too busy exposing secret government anti-terror measures....or implementing redneck/ anti-muslim stings at nascar events..
