Global warming will be debunked soon
For the last 20 years there has been a huge +PDO and very active and large solar cycles/activity. Temps have been flat to slightly cooling the last 8 years.

Agree totally Toast. The quicker Al Gore is shown the door the better. Most of the time politics gets in the way of science and thats a shame. Whatever "global warming" is occurring or has occurred may have had an anthropogenic ratio to it but it is more than likely too minimal to make a difference. Its hard to believe the global warmers can forecast what the climate will be doing 50-100 years out when even the most advanced weather models are barely credible at 4-5 days.
I've read that La Nina over the past 12-18 months has caused the recent cooling, and as it fades things will warm up again.
It is such a fascinating topic, but so very complex.

The trouble is there are many variables that affect global temperature... especially short term temperature changes.
Luckily, our great-great-great-great grand-children will be dead before we are even close to knowing how this is going to turn out.

Complex? Yes, to the point that nobody will ever prove their side one way or another and people will be posting threads whenever the temperature in a given period in Fargo is .01 degree up or down compared to the average.
Fascinating? Not in the least.
