Are the Golden Gophers really the favorite in this game?!!? Guess the opening line reflects the loss of Jordan Adams for the Bruins. Even without Adams, I think UCLA could beat an "Over-Rated/Under-Achieving" Minnesota squad everyday of the week & twice on Sunday.:yup Will be playing the ML BIG$$$ as well!!!

ADAMS IS A HUGE LOSS - BUT UCLA IS SOFT INSIDE- ONE OF THE WORST TEAMS IN THE COUNTRY TO BE LIKE THAT WITH- DOUBLE - YOU ARE A GOOD GUY- AND I AM SURE A GOOD CAPPER-NOT TRYING TO TALK YOU OFF THIS -EVEN WITHOUT ADAMS MINNY WOULD BE FAVORED. TUBBY DOES VERY WELL IN TOURNEYS. TEAMS IN THE FIRST ROUND FAVORED GREATER THAN 1.5 A 10 seed or LOWER ARE 14-3 ATS SINCE 92 AVERAGE WIN MARGIN 7.8- THIS IS A REALLY BAD MATCH-UP FOR UCLA-JUST SOME STUFF TO THINK ABOUT-

I've watched UCLA play and they will get killed on the boards by Minnesota (and by many teams) as noted by Thunder.

In the Pac10 Championship, they didn't even seem like they were interested in the game as anytime you thought they would get back in it, they gave up an offensive rebound or threw the ball away. Shabazz checked out of that game early on including going 5/13 from the field and 4/8 from the line with four personal fouls...and he wants to play in the NBA.

Who can say for sure who will win but, this line is correct.

Points well taken guys. Not a big fan of the Bruins either but I KNOW the Gophers are a "Gut-Less" bunch and will fade them in this spot. While UCLA looked bad in the PAC 12 Championship game they @ least made it that far while Minny went home early in their tourney. Tubby Smith is an average coach in my humble opinion so I think the Bruins are the play!!! Good Luck to All in the 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament!!!:0008

minn is a horrid group and gutless bunch.....however they are the worst kind of matchup for ucla as they kill it on the boards (esp offensive) and will make the game ugly (which ucla doesn't want)

without adams ucla has 1 legitimate scorer in shabazz and he's half checked out and always have had limited size and rebounding ability....

the game is best served as a pass.....but forced to play it, and since there is a line I MUST play it, minn is the play (maybe ml just to be safer)

YOU HIT IT ON THE HEAD- MINNY IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE BIG 10 ON THE BOARDS- UCLA THE WORST IN PAC 12- DREW IS A LEGIT SCORER ALSO IF NEED BE- MINNY CAN BE GUTLESS- BUT NOT AGAINST TEAMS THAT ARE NOT PHYSICAL NOR ARE SLOW PACED- LIKE I SAID THIS IS A POOR MATCH-UP FOR UCLA-SHABAAZ CAN SHOW UP BUT ELISON AND MINI MUTUMBO A TOP 15 NBA PICK WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS. That's a good strategy as you will have the benefit of seeing the how some of the other PAC10 teams compete.

I think the MWC will do well but, Boise's play-in game might be an indicator of that.

I like it! Minny is just going thru the motions. The gophers were a top 10 team this year, and they have been a huge disappointment. They know it too, and they are done.
