UCONN -8 (2 Units)
UNDER 153 (2 Units)

Georgia Tech has faced three opponents thus far(UL-Laf, Hofstra, and Cornell)in games where they were able to completely dominate and play at their pace, their sets both off and def, and not even break a sweat while cruising to easy victories in all three games. They have not been seriously pressured defensively nor have they had to force their offense in a pressure situation. What I'm getting at is watching the Jackets it looked really easy. They scored tons of points and defended well. Which brings us to tonight....

All those things I just said are gonna happen. Tech will be pressured heavily, they will be forced to find offense under pressure, they will have to play INTENSE basketball for 40 minutes for the first time this season. Don't worry about Emeka's back spasms. UConn on the other hand has played stiffer competition in Yale and probably the 2nd best team in the Preseason NIT Nevada. They started off slowly in the Yale game but eventually found flow on both sides of the ball. Nevada never had a chance. And poor Sacred Heart on Saturday were whipped on badly. UConn will bring 40 Minutes of BBall that Tech has yet to see this year. The game will not be a slow for them as it has the past three games and you will see a lot of Tech Turnovers, Fouls, and badly forced shots all leading to a UConn Cover and Under.

Looking for a score in the 78-61 range with UConn winning by 14-18 and the total staying UNDER by 12-15 points.

Left out the importance of this game being played at MSG and the Huskies dominance in this arena. This truly is home court advantage for UConn even when they play St. Johns here. Calhoun loves the Garden and for a team like Georgia Tech it's quite erie to hear all that noice and to look up and maybe 10 rows of people then nothing but darkness. Great Home Court. Have you looked at UConn's bench??? I equate it to the 2nd Scoring Line on a Hockey Team. Most of these kids would be frontline starters at any other program. Good Luck tonight to everyone...even those I've been in pissing matches with over the past few days. Time to grow up in my older age.

I agree

I agree

Williams will be the PG fulltime by midseason. And Boone will fall right into Calhoun's grand scheme. I hope Villanueva gets cleared soon. That kid will be a difference maker. Okafor, Boone, Armstrong, and Charlie V....young but easily the most dominating front court in the Nation once January, Feb, and March rolls around.

Agreed.........

Agreed.........

Taliek is not good enough and MW shows a lotta poise out there for a freshman.
Watch for Calhoun experiment by moving Denham Brown to the backcourt once C Villanueva gets cleared. I think he trys Ben at 1 DB at 2 and Boone, Okafor, Villanueva across the front. Count the points with those 5 when they get it going....and a bench that is DEEP and GOOD.
Team fell apart tonight but that will only make them a moneymaker down the road. It wont happen often and No team has their talent (once they get everyone ready)

$$$$ soon
