thanks to caron butler who was 10 of 13 from the field and 12 of 12 from the line uconn was able to knock off a tough nc st team despite 22 turnovers 77-74 on sunday. i think uconn will have worked on this turnover problem in the last 4 days and play a much stronger game tonight. s. illinois is the best defensive team in the mvc where they held opponents to 40% shooting, and pulled off 2 upsets in the first 2 rounds of this tournament beating tex tech 76-68 as a 3 pt dog and then knocking out georgia 77-75 as a 3 point dog. uconn is on a 11 game win streak and should carry it on to the next round vs maryland/kty winner. both teams have good depth but caron butler should be the difference once again.
