Each year you have to ask yourself, who do I see cutting down the nets and on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Last year it was easy to picture Kansas going into the tournament with their senior leaders and troubled tournament coach breaking through and finally winning the big one. But suddenly a fresh faced freshman appeared from Syracuse and after each game it became clearer that Carmelo Anthony would be the guy to win it all, to be on all the magazines and newspapers, that Boeheim and the Cuse would pull it out. This year you have to wonder, will it be Chris Duhon plastered all over the press with a mangled nets hanging around his neck?? Unlikely, Duke is not ready for this game. History says yes, Duke is Duke. But those Duke teams of yesteryear did not lose at home, did not even get challenged in the ACC tournament and won most games by 25 pts by playing ridiculous defense. This team does not. They rely on variable to win games. If Okafor is hurt, they will win. If Sato doesn't show up, they will win. If Myles fouls out they will win. Duke of old would have won regardless of any situation. The sad thing is I think Uconn can win this game if Okafor plays 10 minutes. Duke will need a Herculian effort to stay in this game and hope to win the last 3 minutes. That's Duke of this year. Now what if Uconn shows up with the same Herculian effort?? Duke will have no answers, just like when Tech spanked them and Cameroon indoor from start to finish. Put away the history books boys, this is not a dominant Duke team. Do not buy into the mystique. Uconn will be on all the covers this year...Okafor will complete the dream season and be a high pick, Gordon will play amazing once again and the role players will shine..much like Jake Voskuhl did when he physically pummelled Brand a few years back. The line is way off...should be 5 or 6...Take the gift and enjoy
