I smell fear.

ATHENS - Georgia held a third straight day of full-pads practice, which is very unusual for the Bulldogs. Normally in a game week they only go once in full-pads, on Tuesdays.
It would appear to be a nod to playing LSU, which is known for its physical style of play.
"It was mainly to keep the right kind of tempo. The right kind of mental edge. And carrying your pads isn't a bad thing to do. The goal wasn't to splatter everybody and get everybody hurt. The goal was just to keep a good frame of mind during practice."
Richt shrugged off a question about potential risks for injury.
"We came through it well, I guess is the best I could tell you," Richt said.

The Dwags have a good team and I suspect they will pound the ball with Gurley. This will be the best offense we have faced this year.

I am usually only this hyped for a game when LSU is facing Bama. I honestly have no clue what will happen. My initial lean was LSU because I feel the defense is better and offenses comparable, with an edge at OL to LSU. Plus, the Murray-led dawgs have fared poorly vs top flight competition. Few coaches in the NCAA have a better record vs ranked foes than Les, especially on the road, while Richt has struggled under the bright lights.

Of course, the Dawgs are more battle tested this season, and the career home/road splits for Mett show he is significantly worse away from the friendly confines of Tiger Stadium, especially against good competition. Hell, his worst game at LSU was against a Clemson team that Murray lit up for 35 points.

Should be fun. I'll be watching this and Bama/Ole Miss from a fishing camp in Venice with a group of LSU, Bama and Ole Miss buddies. Gladly no dawgs will be in attendance. :toast:
