Instead of watching Jeff George keep looking up at the stars in the sky I decided to watch the CUB game. Kerry Wood gets another no decision (4th this year) vs PIT. I get my wallet racked on a heavy chalk play and if someone said what kind of night is it going to be in baseball I would have to be brutally honest . . . ugly!
Both of my own selections got hammered. Fortunately I coattailed MOV on FL for a nice dog win. Should have listened to TV on PIT, but I really thought the Cubs would rock tonight. Looked like they were going to when they led 6-0.
Oh, well. I will get back to the NFL where I need GB -2.5 and over 33, but under 41 to have a terrific night that will take all that ugly away.
