I need the Dodger/Giants game to go OVER 8.5 to hit a $4000+ parlay. I didn't have much in my account and just tried to fund additional money through PayPal to bet $1000 back, but PayPal must be out of action tonight. I didn't have time to fund it any other way. I managed to get a small ($200) bet on the UNDER. Keep your fingers crossed for a slugfest in this game.

I like to put one late game on my parlays in case I'm lucky enough to get the early ones in, I can bet back on the late one.
The Cubs/Reds game was undecided until the last minute. I never expected PayPal to be down, and by the time I was finished d*cking around, the Giants game had started.

I feel sick today.
I had a guaranteed $2000+ winner last night, and end up with $200. If there was a picture of a smiley vomiting, I would use it right now. I've lost 2 friggin parlays, a 6 teamer and a 9 teamer on the last game, in the last two days of baseball. I've only had two games that lost in 18 games that I've played, but haven't won hardly anything, because of most of them being on parlays. If I start betting straight bets, I probably won't hit squat.

i know what a kick in the nuts that last-game-of-the-parlay can be. i lost a basketball one for about the same amount a month or so ago by a half point.

I think the moral to this story is avoid parlays. If you can hit 16 out of 18 games, you've got to bet each individually.

On a limited budget. For $15 I was a gnat's red pubic away from $4000 (or at least a good part of that).
I sat here all night watching the Giant/Dodger score (or lack there of) on the ESPN ticker tape.
I felt like throwing something every time I saw 0 - 0 come on the screen. They showed the Dodger manager standing in the dugout, looking forlorn. I thought to myself "When did Arnold Stang (for you old TV trivia buffs) become a baseball manager?" :thefinger

I'll post my picks today...if I can rebound from this abyss of depression that I've found myself in.
