UNC-Duke Snowball Fight . Thoughts and Plays

Duke has won 7 out of last nine games. If UNC can get the ball into the post versus Duke defense the advantage will go to Heels. Marcus Paige is the key. He has to hit some threes plus be primary ball handler.
Duke will shoot 28-30 threes. If they hit 12 or more then advantage Duke.
UNC gets offensive rebounds on 40 percent of their misses so Duke will have to hold their own on the boards. Look for Plumlee to get 12-14 minutes.
I believe the Smith Center will be full of 20,000 plus students tonight as Rams Club members that cannot make the game will give up tickets,allowing more students to be in courts side seats. Advantage UNC.
I like over 71.5 first half as good size play. Both teams will run.
I like Duke -1 in first half as small play.
I really like large play on two team tease with UNC and Syracuse getting 7.5 pts(-130).
Remember if Duke is up by a good margin at the half then play under in the second half as they will slow down their offense.
This will probably be only game ever at UNC for Parker and Hood. I expect they will play very well. I am predicting a Duke win 79-76.

THIS TARHEEL TEAM HAS BEEN VERY HARD FOR ME TO WATCH BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT THEY HAVE DEFINITELY IMPROVED OVER PAST FEW WEEKS....I CAN SAY THE SAME ABOUT DUKE AS THEY HAVE FOCUSED ON REBOUNDING AND AS LONG AS THEY CONTINUE TO SHOOT LIGHTS OUT FROM 3, THEY WILL BE HARD TO BEAT...HURTS ME TO EVEN SAY THAT BUT IT'S TRUE...DUKE IS PLAYING BETTER AND BETTER AS THE SEASON MARCHES ON...SIGN OF GREAT COACHING WITH GREAT TALENT....IM NOT A BIG ROY FAN...FILLING DEAN'S SHOES WILL ALWAYS BE UNOBTAINABLE IN MY EYES WHEN IT COMES TO THE HEELS.

Thanks. One thing you can count on is Duke will not play any zone. They will pressure the ball the whole game. UNC is not a great dribble drive team but JMM should have a big game.

I THINK COACH K WILL SHOW 2-3 AT SOME POINT IN THE GAME....HE HAS NOT BEEN HAPPY AT TIMES WITH THE WAY THEY HAVE DEFENDED....I AGREE THAT MAJORITY OF THE TIME WILL BE PRESSURE M2M BUT THE HEELS HAVE NOT EXACTLY SHOWN THEY CAN CONSISTENTLY KNOCK DOWN JUMP SHOTS...I MAY BE WRONG...WOULDN'T BE FIRST TIME...HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE HOW IT PLAYS OUT...ENJOY THE GAME :0002
