What do you guys think...
Alexander and Branch are out...
Weather is suppose to be terrible...Winds at 15-25mph...Chance of rain 60% with gusts up to 40 which will effect the deep passing game...
Seattle will have to make short passes most of the night because of the weather and lack of run game...Play action shouldn't be effective because of their lack of a running game even when Alexander was playing...So SF can sit back and play safe coverage.
Seattle's Defense has an advantage at home with the noise...
San Fran has the worst pass offense in the league...
San Fran's OL is banged up...I think 2 starters are out and Seattle has fast LB's.
Frank Gore is not 100%...
Alex Smith is hurting, his shoulder is messed up and with rain and wind Im sure it will feel even worse...
Nolan's dad passed away which could be motivation or a distraction...I don't know how close the team is with the coach if anyone does, please post...Also was Nolan with his family, did he game plan?
I can see both defenses sitting back and letting underneath passes being completed which will run the clock but not produce big chunks of yards and drives will stall...Kicking will be an issue IF the winds do in fact kick up in the 30-40mph range which could take points off the board.
One thing that could be a worry is Special team turnovers...IF the winds are bad that could effect punts and the spin on the ball and make the returners muff a lot of them which could lead to turnovers and better field position....
Just some points to think about......It does look like the number is already low...
