Hello all. Not sure if it’s bad form but just curious what people’s unit sizes are. Don’t know how to do a poll but let me know in the comments if you care to. Thanks

In the locker room, I have looked around some and I think my unit is about average. It still works too.

Actually, sometimes I wonder that too.

This obviously has to do with one’s ability to sustain losses.
That is, the vast majority of gamblers lose money.
On MJ’s, a few long time players and posters show a profit.
Most do not.

So, this can either be an untenably expensive hobby or a break-even proposition with lots of enjoyment depending on how one manages one’s … unit size.

It took me a long friggin’ time to arrive at that latter option.
Slumdog’s story is by far the most interesting tale I’ve seen in my two decades here. He’s truly playing with house money and smart enough not to give it back.

If you look at posts with actual dollar sums, I think a lot of people bet $50-$100/game. It looks to me that there’s then a jump to the few almost-professionals (Steel, Jord for instance) who bet $1000 plus/game. I could very wrong on this …

A wise man once said, it doesn’t matter if it’s a one-unit, five-unit or fifty unit bet, or the GOY(!!) it’s still just one person’s opinion.
