The new pact, which is an extension of a 10-year deal Self signed back in August of 2008, will increase the 49-year-old's current salary by $480,000 per year, to $3.856 million, should he remain at the school for the duration of the contract.

In addition, the deal includes retention bonuses of $876,000 per year in 2015 and 2018. If Self remains at his post until 2022, the second bonus will be replaced by a one-time payment of $6 million due in 2019

My deal is very similar, except I don't get as much money, as big a yearly increase, a retention bonus, or any benefits for working through 2019.
