UNT is coming off a huge win against Baylor. UNT's defense dominated Baylor's offense. This week they face off against an Air Force school with no passing game and a starting QB(Chance Harridge) most likely out for disciplinary reasons. The Eagles have a good pass defense and an unbelievable run defense lead by All-American DT (5'10" 320lb) Brandon Kennedy. Kennedy has been ripping apart opposing teams OL this year and will have a field day against Air Force. The Eagle's may be a Sun belt school, but this team has better Athletes and a D that hasn't lost a step from last year. Give me the Mean green baby!!!!

FORGOT TO MENTION: The Falcons will be without their heart and soul & MWC defensive player of the year in Dallas product(and my brothers best friend I might add;) )MLB Anthony Schlegel. Schlegel transferred to Ohio State over the summer and is currently sitting out this year via NCAA rules.

Tough game to capp.
Flyboys run the "wish".NT had problems with it vs New Mex St even though they won 38-27.A late int. sealed the win for NT.Aggies don't run a wish but run options.
NT will pack the line.Make them throw the ball.
Tough game to call.I like the 8.5 pts.I thought it would be around -7. GL

I just feel Air Force is overrated. Their last win was very close against a bottom feeding Northwestern who handed them the game.
UNT will pack the box, Safety Craig Jones & CB Markeith Knowlton are both very good in the secondary. Brandon Kennedy is better than ever.

i read your post Box. Harridge has been reinstated. I haven't heard anything about Pat Cobbs being out for this game? Where did you get this info? Thanks!:cool: :D

you can count me in on the n. tex. bet. air force can never play defense well, & think n. tex. will do well moving the ball.

I'll ask the guys on the team about cobbs status. They come in to my bar, and I'm friends with a couple of them. I will write back later on in the week with info.

I was able to get some info on UNT starting RB Patrick Cobbs. He suffered a deep thigh bruise against Oklahoma & reaggravated it against Baylor. He is expected to play against Air Force.

I just found out that the starting RB is OUT this week. He was said to have a blood clot and will not play this week. UNT has a couple of other good RB's though. I was told that #30, a red shirt freshman, will turn some heads given the chance. On another note the Preseason all american Brandon Kennedy is feeling good and will play.
