I can speak about Toronto only, due to cognitive dissonance.
May 5th is the get-together downtown. Meeting at Queen's Park behind the Ontario Parliament buildings--north end of University Ave. 2 pm until who-knows-when. Vendors, music and displays set to get underway at 10 am. My recent experience with downtown cops suggest that they will be very decent. Guess I'll take my chances. I'm expecting to go down with a few bros and if they book us all then I'm booking a flight to Holland.
I knew I shoulda done this while more coherent, but hopefully I might hear from others who are participating in their own cities (or here). Would love to hook up with some MJ MJ'ers so do a post and we'll figure how to secure some collective insecurity on the streets. There's strength in numbers but that's far from my concern. Just like to meet some others who believe that the end of prohibition should be here. Could add to that but my inhibitions are funking me. That and my 12-hour binge.
