So I am a mexican and if I disagree w/Obama I am called a racist hmmmm. If a white person disagrees w/Obama they are a racist....If a black person disagrees w/Obama they are only racist because they disagree with his white half (not his black half) I am so sick of this racist media. The rapid majority of Americans disagree with his agenda on Health care and the Illegals not his color.....STOP making this a race issue.

Wrong.Politicans HAVE wanted healthcare for decades where have you been.

Conducted by International Communications Research (ICR) from September 16-20, 2009, the phone survey of 1,043 U.S. adults found that 60 percent favor - and only thirty percent oppose - "efforts to pass health care reform to provide affordable health insurance for all."

I am not sure where trample has been, but a majority of this country does want health care reform.

I am open-minded about healthcare reform, and hope that something is done. I hold insurance through my company, and my wife through hers, and we each also have coverage under each other's policies on a secondary basis. Even with this overlap in coverage, I paid nearly $500 for a stress test last year. The stress test, which was recommended by my former doctor, was clearly unnecessary. The total cost of the test exceeded $2000. I was there for 30 minutes and was asked by the cardiologist (who was treating me and another guy simultaneously) why this had been prescribed by my "primary" physician. Later, the same primary doc wanted me to take glucose test b/c my blood sugar was "approaching" borderline. I told him no and have never been back to him. Recently, my wife paid nearly $400 for an MRI of her brain and spine. This was a 30 minute procedure which cost a total of nearly $3000. Ridiculous.

The poor bastards w/o helath insurance that need MRI's and stress tests better have their wallets out because the cost of these tests is through the roof in the United States.

Yes, healthcare reform is essential. However, creating programs w/o securing the financing is not the way to go about it. Unfortunately, this is the trademark of this administration. W started, and O has taken it to a new level.

I do agree that the the costs are crazy. Will a universal health plan curb these cost?Thats the idea behind it.

Still the idea and what really would happen are two different things. I no(hows that Trampled,I know its spelled KNOW,its just quicker)theres money to be made universal or public.

On a sad note my brothers wife was just diagnosed with M.S.,putting her well being first,I would imagine that there carecost will rise.

My brother ,who works for the gov't. and is a hardline conservative even joked we just might need that Obamacare.

I have no doubt that whatever does get done will be fucked up.

I was pointing out that a majority of this country wants something different.

I just doubt that what gets done will be in the best interest of people.
