Then he says he's not stepping down and never was planning to, so he's gets fired. You've got to love how the Trump administration botched this. They come out and say he's resigning, then they have to fire him because he's not. Then they lie about who ordered it and say Trump knew nothing of it even though Barr claims Trump was behind it.

I don't think any of them are actually stupid, but I don't think they ever dig below the surface on anything they get fed from their "news" outlets. I think they're gullible and the people that tell them how bad they are getting screwed by minorities, immigrants, and the poor really resonates with them. They're trusted sources are extremely opinionated and the confidence those whackos profess their nonsense with gives the gullible a sense of confidence......as demonstrated, they can't EVER back up their argument when challenged.

One thing I found really interesting is that when COVID-19 affected Hedge's life directly, he changed his tune immediately. I hope the message carries over into other aspects of his belief system (economics, health care, etc.).
