Debbie had a chance 1 stone before this last one to seal the deal but was unable to peal the guard of team russia. Soon as the peal was missed rookie skip from team R called a key time out to draw up a plan for their last slide and a tie. Very key time out in a pressure packed venue. The young skip missed her slide and left a small window for debbie to redeam herself. Her face was stern as she took aim with her rock. speed was around a 7 , the rock had a slight draw then a curl and the crowd was chanting usa usa as the rock came to a stop for the winning point what a clutch slide from debbie and for team USA to get into the winners circle for the first time in 4 attempts.
