What is the story with Troy Palamalu? If he is out, that could be too high a number since the Trojan defense drops several notches without him.
Carson is an enigma to me and they are relying plenty on true freshman WR Mike Williams who had the worst game at wide receiver I have ever seen (vs. KState with 4 consecutive perfect pass drops), but played much better vs. Wash St.
Giving 11 points in the Pac 10 can be a tricky prospect.

Cal's upset win puts them in an extremely strong momentum situation. High probability of Cal covering this number.
I think the number looks right. . . even though Cal beat a Washington team that I think was completely overrated before the game.

ur right skill! w/palamalu out they do look flat! but this coference is just like the wacky wac! usc can score 30+ in the 2h-we still have time in the 1h- but lucked out w/that td-that wasnt! defense will have to put it together for me to get back in this one! gl
Your right about the 2H.....I was about to say that a play on the 2H over might be in line should it be about 27-28
Bad call or not, they are getting right back in the game. I like the optimism J. I might play the second half, depending on this last minute and what the line is.
