The more I have thought about Reggie Bush lateraling the ball the more I am wondering if I dont have a reason that makes sense to me.
I am thinking that Reggie was running down the field gaining good yardage. Out of the corner of his eye he sees this teammate running close to him. But Reggie notices the teammate is not blocking anyone. So in a moment of irrational thoughts he decides to lateral the football to the guy so he can feel what its like to get crushed.
It makes sense to me anyway. I watched the replay closely and still couldnt pick up the guys number who was running beside him. I do not think it was a top flite player, but not sure.
