at the national championship in my opinion...

Both OK and Fla look like crap. FL offense is terrible - can't throw a pass longer than 5 yards, and OK is nothing special.

Would not be surprised - unless this game picks up and ends 38-35 - to see Utah or SC win the AP championship.

We certainly don't have the 2 best teams in this game - although I'll admit I don't know who the best 2 teams are......

So because the #1 and #2 team are not putting up 30+ points they look like crap?
Since when does it have to be a high scoring game to judge a #1 team.

Does there have to be points scored for it to be a good game? Could it be that the defenses are actually playing good?

Possible, but not likely.

Florida supposedly played in the best conference in the land and scored a ton of points... yet they can't score.

Oklahoma supposedly has a shitty D - yet they hold FLA down, no problem. And their offense that average a million points a game - nada.

Utah, USC and Texas have a shot!

I'm with you!!!

i say Utah deserves it

scored 31 points against Bama who was allowing 12 points on defense.

Utah is undefeated

USC lost to Oregon St.

give it to Utah!!!!:toast:

i wish i had as much to drink as mags but not tonite ...

the 2 best teams are there and playing ........

Not drinking a drop tonight.

But there is no way anyone can say these are the best 2 teams - there are probably 8 teams that could qualify for that this year.... HEY - an 8 team playoff - has anyone thought of that before???

OK, I'll amend my comments - TONIGHT these are not the best 2 teams - not close.

Maybe they both are not up for the game???

They are not the best teams tonight because they do not meet your standards for 'good' teams?

I suppose you would like a game where its either 70-0 or they both score every drive.

You ever thought that when the 2 best teams play each other they might just play each other close. Maybe even have to fight for every yard or point they get! Doesn't mean they suck, probably means they're both pretty damn good.

Nope - want a game where both teams play to their capabilities. That certainly isn't happening tonight - they both are playing well below expectations.

Defenses look good because both offenses look terrible.

I didn't see a lot of FLA being in the Midwest. Is this the same boring 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense that they used all year to win the SEC? They should be a Big 10 team with the offense they have been running.... :mj07:
