UWGB update: The Phoenix will look to bounce back from its 76-62 loss at Cleveland State on Saturday. Junior guard Carrington Love scored a team-high 14 points the loss and was one of four players to finish in double figures. ? Point guard Keifer Sykes had 11 against the Vikings and now has scored 10 or more points in 34 straight games against Horizon League opponents. ? UWGB beat Wright State 79-55 in the first meeting of the season on Jan. 5. Sykes scored 28 points, while junior guard-forward Jordan Fouse just missed a triple-double with 16 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists.



WSU update: The Raiders are coming off an 84-76 overtime loss at Oakland on Wednesday night. WSU was led by junior guard Joe Thomasson, who finished with 17 points, six rebounds and four steals, while freshman forward Roderick Davis added a season-high 17 points and seven rebounds in a reserve role. ? The Raiders have lost four of their last five games, including back-to-back home contests against Cleveland State and Valparaiso. ? WSU has gone 5-3 at home this season. ? Junior forward JT Yoho leads the team with 16.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, but he is out indefinitely with a knee injury. ? Sophomore forward Steven Davis has missed eight straight games with a foot injury and is doubtful against the Phoenix. ? Senior guard Kendall Griffin is out for the season after sustaining another concussion in the loss to Oakland. ? The team is shooting 43.3 percent overall, 34.5 percent from 3 and 69.7 percent from the line. Opponents are shooting 44.2 percent overall, 34.8 percent from 3 and 73.4 percent at the line.

Wright has certainly been snake bit. With Griffin going down in the last game they are now missing 3 starters and 30+ PPG from their starting five. As their bench gets shorter one would think that they will be trying to work down the shot clock to limit possessions as much as possible. Donlon likes playing that style anyways but it may now be an absolute necessity.



As a home dog,I would have loved Wright St in this spot but the new injury makes the side a probable pass for me. I will give the total a long look though.
