After doing research all night I came up with one of my strongest plays of the year. I know this may seem crazy but hear me out. I found tremendous value in the Colts ML -830. I think the Colts have a very good chance of WINNING this game. Call me crazy but with Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison I think that the Colts roll on the weak St. Louis Rams. The Colts also have a very good defense this year that I think will prevent the Rams from getting it going offensively. This is also been a great system play over the past couple of years. When the one team is favored by 14+ then play the MONEY LINE!!! Just sit back and collect your money, this is a gift.

16600 to win 2000

Not sure if "value" is the word that springs to my mind!

You said you did some research...well, here's some history...

Since 1989:
Teams who are home 10+ favs, off a 7+ ats win as a 7+ fav are exactly 0-10 ats if they are playing a team off any ats loss as fav...but more importantly (in this case) just 4-6 SU!!! (The average line in those 10 games was -12.5)

(Why do I somehow get the feeling that this post is on the not so serious side?)

Good Luck! :mj14:

You can come up with a trend for anything.

In my opinion trends don't mean anything.

Trends are meant to get broken, and it happens often.

I don't think it is smart play to lay that much money, but then again, no way do the Colts lose this game.

Colts are on their way to the super bowl, and rams are going south fast.

This game will get ugly.

Thanks for the insights I will continue to seek advice. Christo, love the trends. My research was mostly just on numbers this year and this maybe the strongest play on my card sunday.

thanks

Betting 16600 to win 2000 is not Value its idiotic...I have a friend who used to bet like this.... he busted out... eventually upsets will occur.. you have to win too many games in a row before you can take a loss.. and eventually you will lose..

you may win this game and then the next one.. but over time this system will burn you.. With the chalk you are laying and the money you are betting you have to win what??? 9 times in a row before the system can sustain a loss...All it takes is one upset for you to flush 17 grand down the pot.

Your odds are good but it is still gambling.. Win tomorrow but i wouldnt make a habit of betting like this..

Ok, you've finally convinced me.

I'm going to talk to Barcley and see if I can get a loan.....maybe a billion or so...I'm certain he can spare such a small amout. How much will I win? :)

Pain, you can win well over a 100 million. Have to lay it almost all at once, though, as a billion at a time will drive thiose generous -830 up to over 1000. But in any respect, wee rich !!
