I did a little write-up last week saying that Vandy would win if they pulled the line. I played them to win. I also said that I had reservations about Nixon. You would think I was wrong if you looked at the stats. He was the SEC offensive player of the week and deserved it but didn't convince me that I was wrong.

If you saw the game you might remember what I'm going to point out. In the first half he played like a quarterback. First quarter he passed and handed the ball off and thanks to two big plays, scored 17 points. In the second he passed and had a big running play and they scored 10. Now, what's bad about that? I've watched him his whole carear and I hope I'm wrong but the Mia game just confermed my fears. Once he starts running, that's all he looks for first. In the third quarter they didn't score and in the fourth they only scored 7. Believe me, if he plays that way against SC, Spurier will have the answer. If he comes out and plays like a quarterback that runs instead of a running back that throws, Vandy wins straight up.

I don't know where this line came from but I'll play it both ways.

2 units Van +10
1 unit Van to win.

Good luck tonight
