Fight, shooting in ‘middle of the street’ leaves 2 dead, 2 hurt near The Strat
Two people died and two others were wounded in a shooting near The Strat hotel. One victim died at the scene.

At the el Cortez numerous stores closed that were open last year; different doors on property chained now; sad
I’m not sure if the crime has anything to do with it but in my opinion El Co got too big for their britches a few years ago. I still go there for a shave at the barber shop every trip but poor VP tables, high betting limits and poor customer service seems to be the new normal over there. El Cortez used to be a fun place to play, with reasonable table limits, good rules and a fun atmosphere. Now it’s barely worth the walk down there. I hear the blackjack is still decent however.
