For the first time I am heading to Vegas for the Conference Tournaments . I usually go for the first 4 days of the NCAA Tournament. I know how crowded the books are and how early you need to arrive to get a seat . Is the conference tourney week just as crowded? I am staying at the Mirage. Will I need to get to the book by 6 or 7 am to get a seat like I have to do for the big tourney.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
not as crowded

not as crowded

first few days of March Madness biggest days in sportsbooks after Superbowl.

you do see less squares tho, more professionals bettors as most of 'em believe Con Tourneys have more beatable lines than March Madness .

but still busy, can't recall how much and I never sit for the games so anyone else got experience here?

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
Tony,
Its been a few years since I was there..............

That being said I found the conference tourneys alot less crowded. Really enjoyed that time, plenty of games that meant something, so you had alot of action, and enough wacked out players to make it interesting.

Still I would get down to the book at a decent hour to get your seat, and make sure you tip your waitress good, so she holds it for your breaks......

They have some nice cocktail waitresses there:eek: Say hi to Kelli for me;)

If your a big enough player, talk to the book manager about reserving you a table, I have done this at various places, and they always send me shit to get me back.......:)

Have fun!!!
