Vegas question

My Wife and I wanna go to vegas and neither of us have been there. We are planning it for around the world series andI want to find a hotel thats really not that expensive, because i know where not gonna spend time there. If any of you have any good spots it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks boys

Don't know if you want to be on the strip, or off. Try one of the older ones like the Golden Nugget. I stayed at the Sunset Station about 7 mins from the strip. Reall enjoyed it and it was cheap. Hell actually it was free got the rooms comped for my play.

It all depends where you want to be at..The Strip, Off-Strip, or Downtown. Here is a website I use when booking hotels in Vegas. Also be sure to check out the location of your hotel...in case you plan on visiting other properties in the area while you are there.

I think we wanted to stay near the strip really. I didn't want to rent a car at all, i just wanted to be able to walk around to everywhere, but do you think its easier to rent a car or what? Thanks for the info guys. Ill check out that site.

NO...don't rent a car...parking it all will be a pain..especially if you plan on visiting alot of casinos. Stay close to the Strip..you can walk to the closer places and take a Taxi to the properties that are further away. GL with your search.

Don't rent a car. Less than a $10 cab ride from the airport. Try the Imperial Palace or the Flamingo for cheaper rooms, but they are both right in the middle of the action on the strip. Easy walking distance to some very popular casinos or short cab rides to others. I'm sure some of the Vegas residents might have some other ideas, but if you don't really care where you stay, give those two a try. Have fun and catch a good show or two.

this is a good thread Kdogg21, cause some toronto madjackers are trying to dig around for hotel info so we can book our rooms for next year's superbowl party in vegas.
