should have posted this earlier as i was in vegas a few weeks ago and was surprised/pissed when the veneitian sportsbook was closed (was staying there).
apparently it closed down in sept and is set to re-open sometime in nov.....was bought out by cantor gaming who also bought out hard rocks sportsbook and been there a few times since it's reopened and it's nice......
they do $ drink vouchers there that you must use same day at the circle bar or sports book bar (if it's open), not sure how venetian will work but they were pretty good with drink tix for me....then again, so was/is hard rock...little tip, they'll both give you more tickets/vouchers if your betting horses vs sports as they love those customers (since there arent many of them)......would usually get 20-30 drink coupon from hard rock for every horse bet i make (usually 100-200 dollars) but it's a process as the manager has to write up a seperate slip using your players club id.
think the venetian will be remodeled the same way hard rock is with plenty of 1-1 tv's that allow for in-game betting (as well as video poker, etc)
