I'll be all over the state heading out to 3 or 4 different ski resorts. Plan on doing some snowboarding as well.

I'm heading out saturday and so far I have planned to visit the following resorts:
Killington, Suicide Six, Bear Creek and Jay Peak.
I'm looking for great places to dine and wine, attractions etc etc.

thanks guys

ant, I like you and all, but you must have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth, lol! I've never been snow skiing; I think I would end up with a broken leg or fractured skull. Have fun!

I live about 15 minutes from Killington. You'll enjoy the natives. Nothing but a bunch of fat, smelly, toothless, tobacco-chewing, nascar-watching inbred hicks. And the guys are just as bad.

Seriously, there are some OK clubs on the Killington Access Road.
Wobbly Barn, Nightspot/Outback, Pickle Barrel (don't worry, not a gay bar), pretty much any of the clubs will be hopping. If you want Italian food, try out Peppino's

If you venture down into Rutland here are a couple of recommendations:

Good restaurant - Royal's Hearthside.
Good pizza joints - Ramunto's, Ted's, A Crust Above.
Good sub shop - Gill's Delicatessen.
Good place to watch a game - Sabby's.
Most likely area in town to score heroin or catch an STD- State St./Baxter St.

As far as attractions - well, there just aren't many.

in his mouth???? more like shoved half way down his throat ;) :p

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh for that type of life :D

BUT......he is also a total sweetheart, and doesn't mind the other side of life.......such as hanging out in a cheap campground that bottoms out his car while driving over their roads and hanging out partying around a campfire without any of the finer things in life but booze ;)

Somewhere in Corn Country
If your a beer drinker and if you are going to be in Killington, you gotta check out the Long Trail Brewing Company. Heard they are under construction(however, they are open) but the beer is very good and its fun to grab a pushpin and mark your hometown on the map. Can't remember if they have a map of Canada or not, though....

If you get down to Rutland and want to kill a little more time and see some more Vermont, stear your car towards Wells and stop in at the Wells Country Store and say hi to my sister-in-law for me. If she asks which one, tell her the one from Iowa....
whoops, forgot the youngest of the sisters got married this past summer, so she has two brothers-in-law in Iowa now. I'm the older one...lol

Enjoy your vacation, I had a lot of fun while out there and can't wait to go back in June....
