As we are on the cusp of training camp, I have been checking odds for teams to win conference, division, etc. Looking at the NFC, a few things stuck out.

1. Philly is priced at +900-$1020 depending where you look. They are a BAD defensive team and a QB who is very green in terms of starts. Yet they are priced as the fifth team in the NFC. Shows how little depth there is in the NFC after the initial four power teams. Books know that Philly fans are loyal, almost always to a fault and can get Birds fans talking themselves into that big payday...

2. New Orleans, Dallas, Green Bay and Minnesota are priced lowest and for good reason. The NFL has a history of heavy turnover in the playoff teams from a year ago and you have to figure that out of Vikings, Cardinals, Eagles, Packers, Cowboys, and Saints we wont be seeing at least two of them in the playoffs. New Orleans and Arizona seem like the obvious choices so they are bound to be wrong. My guess is Philadelphia and Arizona. Two teams will have to replace the teams that have failed to make the playoffs and I like (trendy sleeper) San Fran @ +1500 and Atlanta @ +1300.

3. Since 2000-01 season, there has been only 1 repeat winner in the NFC. The New York Giants. Gone is the day of the juggernaut in the NFC. Any one of six teams that make the playoffs can advance to the Super Bowl.

I played the following for $25.00 each;
Atlanta to win NFC +1300
Green Bay to win NFC +650
Aaron Rodgers MVP +1400
Atlanta to win NFC South +205
