Wondering if anyone in Twin Cities has heard anything about a number of Vikings having the flu this week. Feist's site has "numerous players" listed as having the flu this past week but checking the St Paul paper website, I saw nothing mentioned. Any further info is appreciated.

It happened ealier

It happened ealier

in the week. The latest one to fall prey was Jim Kleinsaser but he was still able to suit up and practice. This is still lingering from a couple of weeks ago, there were a few coaches as well, but nothing that will hinder there performance for this week.

In short, throw out that information as any part of your handicapping, because it is a non-issue. They are finw now!

Hope this helps!

The Vikings

The Vikings

are wanting to get to another fast start, and their focus has been as such...but I doubt they will start the game with the No-huddle simpy due to NE now being prepared for it.

I would however, expect them to use it within the game, such as second or third quarter to change tempo if they struggle. They will attempt more downfield passes, as well due to temas putting 8-9 in the box trying to stop Bennett.

Hope this helps!
