So. Cal
they were down 11

they took all the time needed to score a td, with 0 seconds left on the clock and just kicked the pat

nice move moron coach......from a winning perspective, not a gambling perspective they had 4th and 2 and 4th and 10 from the 22 and 11 yard line with 1 min and then 20 secs left and kept going for it as opposed to kicking the fg

why?

you need a fg, a td and a 2 pt conv......why waste all the time to get the td, as they did?????

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Minnesota(+3')(-120) over Miami (1*)[/B]

My local affiliate switched to this game after the Bears game. With time running out, a great catch and run by Moore on 4th and 10 squeezed out a 1st down at the 1 yard line. The home team scoreboard operator then left 1 second on the clock (which was easily so) for the Vikings to score on second down from the 1 on the final play of the game . . . The referee almost immediately announced that the conversion needed to be attempted. With no chance to get the ball back and score again . . . Viking's coach Brad Childress paused a good while for dramatic effect . . . then trotted out the placekicker :com: . . . I did shout, "Noooo!," but I guess he didn't hear me . . . It helps to believe they would have been stopped, anyway.

"(Jason) Taylor and (Renaldo) Hill returned turnovers for touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and Miami overcame another sputtering offensive performance to beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-20.

The Vikings, ranked first in the NFL in run defense, lost despite setting a team record by limiting the Dolphins to minus-3 yards rushing in 14 carries. Running back Ronnie Brown netted 2 yards in 12 attempts.

The last time a team won with such a poor rushing total was on Oct. 29, 1961, when Philadelphia beat Washington 27-24 with minus 12 yards.

'They shut down one half of our offense,' quarterback Joey Harrington said. 'We threw well enough to win. And yeah, we got some help from J.T. and Renaldo.'"
