Really like the Mountaineers in this one. Main reason is their rushing attack, I really don't see UVA stopping them. GL on whom ever you take.

I like West Viginia. I can't see Virginia stopping the running attack of West Virginia at all.....

I agree this is my favorite out of them all . WV has made me some $$$$$ this year . I am planning on taking them as a first 1/2 play , ML , and -5.
good luck

big east looking good in the bowls so far, with BC and Pitt winning. 45,000 wva fans going to be there. WVA has motivation and a running game, recipe for a winner.

...UVA for me. WVU running game will be rocking, but the cavs have been really good this year (for the cavs), and I think they give WV a run for their money. I know that I am very much in the minority on this one, but i dont mind

Spread should be 7.5 to 8

West Virginial wins by 14, Virginia offense isnt good enough to get them back in the game after they get down.
Under is also a possible play in this game.

"the bunker"
stats

stats

w va averages 286 ypg rushing
va yields 206 ypg rushing and over 420 ypg total defense...
i think it`s hard for a leopard to change it`s spots...
you have a startling strength vs weakness aspect here that is tough to ignore....and by the end of the season, the big east appeared to be a stronger, more physical conference(in the upper echelon teams)...

ole miss was perceived to be a weak team vs the run but yielded only around 150 ypg in the tough sec....i think that when you yield over 206 ypg rushing and over 420 ypg total in a fairly weak acc,you have an innate defensive weakness....

and in west virginia, you have a good road club travelling with lots of fans, that is starving for big time success.....i think virginia is in trouble....and i`m an acc guy....the big east looked as physical as any conference by season`s end....

west va 5-1 ats as fave this year
u va 1-4 ats vs non-conf this year
u va 1-5 last 6 on neutral turf
u va 5-8 last 13 ats vs big east

and that`s just one man`s opinion......;) g.l.

I really can't pull the trigger on this game but will add this stat as food for thought.
Teams (WV) favored in bowls by 3 or more that won 4 or less games the previous season were 7-16 vs spread last 20 years. However now that total is 8-16 as Oklahoma State was the only other team in bowls this year beside WV that fit that scenerio.

Thanks

Thanks

I myself was leaning toward West Virginia. All the info does help. But I was hoping more people would have taken UVA. Like yesterday, I played S.Miss +12 for the sole reason that everyone was on OSU. I'm afraid this game may go the
same way.

Good Luck Everyone
