Vodka Drinkers ???????

I was out last friday night and got into a conversation with some older guy about good vodka. I LOVE VODKA lately I have been drinking Belvadear but this guy claimed that there was something out there better................I forget the name of it maybe some one out there can help....................all I can remember is that he mention potatoe vodka??????

$75 a bottle he did mention it wasn't cheap , but the best vodka he ever had!!!

Anyone have any ideas..............

I am taking a trip in a few weeks and would like to bring some of the good stuff LOL

Also a vodka person, T, cant drink Scotch. The best vodka I think, hands down, is Chopin. It is a potato vodka, 100%. I dont care how good you say Stoli, Grey Goose or Belvedere are, they are grain alcohol and if you drink it straight up the difference is absolutely noticeable. You cannot compare the taste of a potato vodka to the afterbite/"rubbing alcohol" taste you get from ay vodka made from grain.

Though Chopin is only $30 a bottle or so, dont know what he was talking about. Give it a try.

PERHAPS THE VODKA WAS GLACIER. IT IS A POPULAR POTATO VODKA. KETEL ONE IS A DELICIOUS VODKA AS WELL. HOWEVER, I THINK IT IS MADE FROM WHEAT. IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED IT YOU WILL ENJOY IT.

Ketel One or Pearl are some nice grain vodkas.....they are distilled 3-5 times. Reasonably priced.....<$20

Kettle one is some good shit, but Absolute has always been my favorite

Grey Goose has a good kick to it too. Definately good with a splash of grapefruit juice or orange juice.

$60 for some vodka is a high mighty price though. It better make me fly

Thanks for the responses guys . I haven't hit the liquor store yet. KETTLE ONE was my drink befor belvedere a bar tender a few weeks back said try this drink its on the house its better than KETTLE and all I can say is that was the last thing I remember
