I work for a support organization and when we have production issues, we join a MML and we have someone recording the conversation....

We pay these people $11/hr (24 hrs a day) just to be available to record a call in-case there is an issue.

I have to assume there is some type of voice recording software that would record the call and then translate it to some type of word document (or notepad).

I know there are so many people here with different backgrounds, if you work in this area or have some knowledge, feel free to reply to the thread or get my email from jack

we use a program called verint but it does not transcribe the phone calls. They pull it up via customer id, and then they listen to any calls from there.

We use verint, but for a different type of call recording. I believe with Verint it has to be modem based.

Where do you work that yuo use verint?
