Please tell me how e.w. pays off.

- At most Sportsbooks, it is Top 4 at 1/5 the odds, although sometimes it is Top 5, and in rare cases even Top 8. And to make it even more complicated sometimes the odds are not 1/5. "Each Way" bets vary quite a bit, but for the most part it is usually Top 4 and 1/5 the odds.

- So let's say the odds for the golfer to win are 100-1, the "each-way" pays 1/5th of 100-1, which is 20-1.

- The stake per bet is doubled since you're making two bets.

- In example above you would have the golfer at 100-1 and let us say you bet 20 dollars. You would have a $20 bet at 100-1, and then another $20 bet on the golfer to finish top 4 (total of 40 dollars) at 1/5th of the winning payout, which would be 20-1 since the odds to win are 100-1. If the golfer finishes in the top 4 but doesn't win the tournament, your $20 bet will get paid 1/5 of the 100-1 odds (aka 20-1). If the golfer wins the tournament, you'll win $2,000 ($20 bet at 100-1) and your each-way bet, which would pay $400.
