I'm interviewing for a job in another state today. If I get hired, I'll relocate somewhere in the last week of October or first week of November. Right now I'm a registered voter in Texas. If I move to a new state a week before the election, do I reregister in the new state or still vote in Texas? Just curious if anyone knows the deal for a situation like that.

i think you still vote in Texas....

think you have to register most places at least 1 month in advance of election day......

don't worry if you miss though...Bush won't need your vote in Texas

I figured that would be the case, but wanted to check just in case. The new state is a battleground one, but rules are rules, so life goes on.

"rules are rules"

not in this election......i think "rules are meant to be broken" will be the only rule followed sadly enough.....with the UN involved, it will be an even bigger circus
