Wade Belak found dead

Wade was one of my favourite players when he was a Leaf. The guy was a super nice guy.

A friend of mine wife was pregnant at the time and was carrying groceries. Wade Belak saw her and ended up carrying the groceries one block and up to her condo. Most athletes today would never do something like that.

Man....so sad.

Where did you get that info?

No cause of death has been released.


He was a super nice guy and always joking around. Suicide makes no sense.

Wow.....if that is true there had to have been something going on. The guy seemed super upbeat and he always had a smile on his face.

Maybe we will never know exactly what happened.

I heard last night on Morency's show. apparently hung himself

This is shocking news........a friend of mine lived near him when he was playing for the Leafs and every time they met Belak was a super nice guy.

I met Belak once and he was super funny and a pleasure to be around.


All his teammates loved him and they all said the same thing.........he was the guy who made ya laugh.


He would even show up at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto and sign autographs for the kids.


This truly is shocking news......him hanging himself makes no sense.
