Just got back from Walleye fishing in Minnesota--wow great fishing and they taste great fresh and over the grill the samee day:toast:

Wallleye is great tasting fresh water fish. Love catching and throwing on the grill.

Walleye fishing is my main hobby. And yes, they do taste fantastic. My comment about the Minnesotans being in South Dakota was just a rubbing to the Minnesota guys...harmless fun. We do see a lot of them over here in SD fishing simply because most of them are closer to our lakes, mostly boarder towns, than the good ones in Minny and we don't have seasons like they do. Minnesota is loaded with top notch walleye lakes. But most people don't realize SD has that too.

Lake Mil Lacs--south shore. No pics--hell we had them filleted before we got to shore and on the grill right away--6 over 22 inches--5 over 25 which means you have to throw them back. Water was very warm so you had to go deep to get them. Many dead fish floating to shore one day.
