I don't bet on Wizards spreads and rarely on their games at all, because I just can't cap them...That said, if I were to bet on this game I would definitely take the Bulls, for the following reasons:
Yes, the line looks too big, but when it looks odd the most obvious answer is usually not the correct one.
The Bulls are 5-3 ATS in back to back games this year, winning by an average of 8.2 ppg.
The Wiz are 3-5 ATS in back to back games this year, losing by an average of 5.9 ppg.
The Bulls beat the Wizards when they were playing in b-b games earlier this year by 18 points.
Antawn Jamison is out, and yes, he has been out for awhile, but this will especially hurt them in b-b games.
The Bulls are 12-6 ATS at home vs eastern conf teams, winning by an average of 10.6 ppg.
The Bulls are a rebounding defense minded team and the Wizards are a jump-shooting offense team. They are not going to get many second looks with Chicago.
The Bulls have been struggling ATS at home in their last few games, and the Wizards have been doing well ATS on the road, but I think the Bulls want to make a strong statement in their second half of the season, especially at their first home game.
Just my opinion, like I said, not playing it...and since I'm SO bad on Wizards games, they are probably the play tonight!
Good luck...
