both teams have lost a lot of starters from last years squads. NM returns 4 on defense and 5 on offense, including leading rusher DonTrell Moore. Wash St only returns 2 defensive starters and 4 on offense. I just dont see such an inexperienced club going on the road in the first week of the season and winning, especially against a team that has improved 6 consecutive years. Thats not to say new Mexico is improved this year, but I believe they have enough of a nucleus to grind it out, and should be able dominate the inexperienced wash st d line. Thw Wash St offense will need excellent field position to pull off a win here, and I don't see that happening. I also love the fact that the line is up to 3.5.
