No question in my mind that Washington State is the play. . . if Arizona had the firepower to stay in this one, I'd say lay off, but they haven't proven they can hang with any team that has a decent offense. Should be much like the Oregon game. . . the Cats may hang around for the first half, but typically fade away in the second.

Best bet for me would be to buy this down to 9.5, then sit back and hope you never needed the point in the first place! You probably won't, but wouldn't hurt if you plan on pounding this one.

Hi Hawk.
I'm more in SunDevil territory, but about the only thing
left for the Cats TY is beating the Devils on Nov 29th.
Too many injuries for U of A...38 starts missed
by prominent players this year.....has them drained
and playing with, & practicing with, a lack of effort.
The Cats are looking to improve before the ASU
game to dash the Devils hopes at the RoseBowl and
are already looking towards improving for future seasons.
your on the right side. Swam

BTW..
heres N Coasts take on the game.

* Washington St over ARIZONA - Three of the L/5 meetings have come down to the final play between these two. In 2000 UA outlasted WSU 53-47 in 3 OT?s. In ?99 UA won 30-24 on the game?s last play as Bobby Wade ?caught? a TD with 0:00 left but TV replays clearly showed the ball bounced on the turf. LY it wasn?t quite as close as WSU won in Tucson 48-21 as a 2 pt AF and a Key Selection Winner on these pages. This is one of our favorite series as Arizona delivered our very first TWO College Play of the Year Winners for us in 1982 and 1983 and we also won with the Cats as our first and only ever 5* Newsletter Selection in the ?90?s. WSU is now a super 9-1 ATS on grass the L/3Y (only loss Ohio St). Arizona is a very poor 1-12 ATS at home their last 13 vs the Pac 10 (including 11 straight losses)!!! Wash St is off a bye where HC Price noted that he would have almost everyone back healthy while listing all of Arizona?s injuries could make a printer cartridge run out of ink. QB Jason Johnson has provided most of the Wildcats offense with 301 ypg (61%) and a 10-7 ratio. Wash St is led by QB Jason Gesser who has thrown for 271 ypg (61%) with a 17-5 ratio. His rib injury should be almost 100% healed. We won with Stanford over the banged up Cats as a Late Phone Play LW and we see a healthy WSU shredding a makeshift secondary and winning big here. FORECAST: Wash St 42 ARIZONA 17
