Washington +3 over Texas ***
Huskies have one of the best qb's in the country and a few wr's . Their defense is based on the Tex Asst coach who put this team together. So Texas has an advantage in the coaching box. But the best running back Bijon and his side partner Rochan are on the side lines warming up for the NFL draft cheering their team on . What a waste. Both players agents and Overshown their top line backer opted out to play. I do understand that but coach Sarkasian . No way these players should be on your bench cheering. They should be back in Austin watching the game in your dorm or at a bar. Bijon who with out a doubt is the best running back in the country bar none should be driving his brand new NIL Lamborghini on 6th street in downtown Austin not on the sidelines as a teammate. I am not against any of these kids sitting out risking possibly injury but am 100 % against them on the side lines where the TV camera will zero in on them 10 times tonight. You got a scholarship to our school You are no longer a Texas football player. I blame the coach not the kid. And Bijon is such a great kid. Soft spoken kind respectful etc. But you are no longer Number 5 wearing a Texas Longhorn jersey. To me you are the best running back in the country and just saw you are predicted to go the NFL 1st round at no. 12. You mean to tell me 11 teams are going to pass on you. Oh lordie what a mistake.
Coach this is on you . You have a lot on our mind tonight with trying to stop Penix and co. I'm not blaming you for these players opting out but you are in control of the field and bench and those kids should be sitting in row 1 not on your sidelines. And if washington goes up you know the camera and tv announcers will or could use "if Bijon or Rochan were playing it might be different.
I coached HS basketball for many years. I suspended many players in my day and learned that bringing them to the game and letting them watch it on the side lines was a good lesson but a better one was not allowing them on the bus or the bench. Because the 1st time my suspended players watched from the bench and we lost they had this attitude of " if I was playing we wouldn't of lost". They could attend the game but there not sitting on my bench or getting on the bus.
Texas is loaded and these guys replacements are good. Huskies will have their hands full and Ewers their qb is to inconsistent and Worthy the one wr star has ducked the question if he is going to transfer schools. Hope Texas wins by 1 or 2 but doesn't cover Good luck .
