This should be the best game of the day.
I really like the way Thomas leads this team of shooters.
These guys can really run the floor.
They will give North Carolina all they want.
I see the Huskies winning this game but I will take the points.

I hate to say it, but I think it's a good play, Scott. Tarheels have struggled lately, where Washington hasn't. I'm hopeful the Heels can pull out the win.....but the 5 points will hopefully come in handy for you.......so both of us will be happy.

Yes, I know this is essentially a home game for the Tar Heels. But, I think Isaiah Thomas and the Huskies have what it takes to keep this game close. This Huskies team is more experienced and won't be rattled by the crowd. This game should be a barn-burner. The Huskies average 83.1 points per game and North Carolina put up triple figures in their opening round game. But, they also gave up 87 to Long Island. Washington will get theirs today. They are a good rebounding team and that could spell trouble for the Tar Heels who are just 5-13 ATS since last season vs. teams that outrebound their opponents by 4+ per game. North Carolina is also just 2-9 ATS over that same span on the road vs. teams that outscore their opponents by 12+ points per game. Huskies head coach Lorenzo Romar is 76-51 ATS as an underdog and 26-12 ATS vs. up-tempo teams like NC (teams that average 62+ shots per game).
I like the Huskies to cover this number.

One of my favorite times of the years for sports wagering.
I had some medical issues and was not able to post for awhile. I was able to watch alot of games though. I concentrated on the top 20 teams in the country.
My strategy is that I don't play the early round games ever. That is where the cinderellas tend to pop up every year and I have a rule about not wagering on any games where I have not seen both teams play.
I wanted to slam the Tenn game with all their issues and poor play I have seen , but I had not seen Mich play except a long time ago so I held off. Alot of things change in a teams ability when they get to the tournament.
So now as we head into the sweet 16 I will start to get focused on how things will be.
Most of the time I look at the dog first but I am a known rock chalk eater at times.
Kansas looks strong as does Ohio St. I always look to play the Duke games. Not sure if they can hold up, but now that Texas is gone they may have a chance.
Championship game in early April.
