Watching every minute of it...............I never go to the strip club when this is on.

Wife waited for it all week and just said I'm going to bed it's so boring!

And the outfits are hideous too.

This is a very awkward opening ceremony. The loud techno music during national team introductions is very annoying. The snowflake failing to transform into the 5th Olympic ring was sad, and I guess expected. Putin looks like a humorless tyrant. The girl flying around and listing Russian achievements was pretty cool. They said she broke her arm practicing the routine last year and insisted on continuing to participate.

I guess it summed up my existing ignorant impression of Russia pretty well: annoying music, malfunctioning technology, stern leaders, fearless children.
