KC -110 (1 unit) - Shields has faced Lester 7 times in the past and he's 1-6 (that was yesterday), Lester last year was 3-1 in the post-season and he's 2-0 this year vs KC, Shields is 1-0 this year vs A's and Royals are 3-1 home this year vs A's. Fact of the matter is, A's the last 1/2 of the season and the month of September were poor offensively and their bullpen has worn down. KC is peaking at the right time and young players for Royals are more than excited to be there. Home crowd also a lil boost for the Royals here. Umpire matchup for this tilt also helps Royals. KC is 19-7 as a home fav of -100 to -125, A's are 2-11 as a dog of +100 to +125. Obvious money on the A's, smart money on the Royals.

Over 6 1/2 KC/Oak Shields/Lester (1 unit)

Weather may play some factor in this game with wind blowing around. Severe weather outlook for the area today!

2-0 last night by the grace of GOD!! A great game in KC to watch but horrible to watch the managing from Ned Yost. Just like his ol' Brewers days as skipper!! But I'll take the 2 wins!!

Today's play:

Pirates even (1 unit) - Pirates are 2-1 at home this year vs Giants, Giants have their ace on the hill, Pittsburgh fans will be loud and boisterous and their lineup is just a tad more potent that the Giants lineup other than Bumgarner can hit for a pitcher. Bullpen edge to Pirates as well and bench strength. 4-3 type game!! Umpire trend again, favors the home team!!

'Cowboy Joe West will be the umpire crew chief (and home plate ump, I presume) for this evenings game' according to Bleacher Report.

Over 6 1/2 (5 units) Both teams will be aggressive and not take many pitches, whether West is behind the plate or not, Volquez many times gets first inning jitters and MadBum can be a bit fine as well, I see this one coming down to the bullpens and the Giants can implode quickly whereas the Bucs pen has been solid and this game is at their park where their winning % is one of the best in MLB the past 2 years! Slight wind blowing to Right Center which will favor lefty hitters and line drive hitters, ala, McCutcheon and Marte!

Man I pulled a boner move yesterday, I tweeted out Tues night to take Giants on Wed and yet, I posted and played the Pirates yesterday!! Talk about lack of focus!! But, cashed on the OVER!! :0074

Today features some must win propositions for both road teams, one's a fav and one's a dog. YIKES!!

Over 7 Tigers/Orioles (1 unit) 8-4 overs between both pitchers, Orioles hyped up and slight wind factor to aid pull hitters in both lineups to LF!

KC +160 (1 unit) Vargas once started for LAA, J Weaver is a finess guy more now than ever before, both pitchers 18-8 Under vs their opponent in this series. KC has the monkey off their back and Angels heavily favored to win it all. Well, it takes more than just talent to win, managerial edge to Angels, but youth and lefty batters for KC may be what they need to win this one tonight! Difference maker will be Perez once again, but look for Hosmer to have a night!!

Angels look way too easy East. Plus the fact YOSTED is exposed now, he's going to be leary of what dumb moves he makes tonight. Vargas knows the hitters and the park well, so the only value I can find along with the speed difference is the Royals and the other fact that WC teams typically out peform the heavy favs this time of year.

It's ok to disagree.

I'm just going with my gut instinct and the matchups which have worked for me for over 33 years!

Later!!

Nice run. Thank you

Thnx LHF!! :)

4-2, +4.5 yesterday, 9-3, +13.1 units during the post-season!!

Today, 1 play:

Dodgers money line -160 (1 unit)

The line on the Giants/Nats is out of whack, when was the last time Hudson was a +175 dog? I'm staying away from that game, Nats owned Giants during the year, but this west coast club is a different animal than the last time they went into the nations capital and got obliterated.

GL!!
