i think the Eagles win but hoping for Pats cause the Eagle fans should be ashamed of their fan base
Are you speaking in general or did something happen in the last 24 hours I?m not aware of? Listen, I know we threw snowballs at Santa. We cheered when Irvin got stretched. It?s bad karma. We?ve had handcuffs on since McNabb era. We choked (or maybe it was karma) in the Super Bowl last time. We traded up one spot ahead of the giants to get Brandon Graham and the giants are still laughing to the Bank with JPP.
Philadelphia is a HARD working city and they deserve to get one just as much as anyone else. Every fan base has their fair share of idiots.
Just a little personal story here? I?ve been to New York Giants Stadium multiple times, Tampa Bay, Miami, in New England. I?ve worn my eagles gear to everyone in the worst fans I ever encountered were in New England. Even in giant stadium I was able to watch the game with giant fans top a little trash, and we could still laugh about the outcome which ever way it went. I went into Gillette Stadium and was heckled, called numerous obscenities and had things thrown in my direction the moment I set foot inside the stadium till the moment I left. And oh by the way that was a preseason game.
I feel we paid our dues
As a former season ticket holder, I would say it might be worse to go to a preseason game, because a lot of season ticket holders will sell or give away preseason tickets. Season ticket holders know if you misbehave you will lose your tickets.
I was a season ticket holder when Kraft bought the team 24 years ago and pre-Kraft that place was like Animal House. Kraft had been a season ticket holder for years before he bought the team and I assume he knew how bad it was and he made it a point to make it better. He wanted it to be a place you would have no problem bringing your wife and kids and he accomplished that. Of course in a crowd of 65,000 or so you will always find the occasional idiot.
I almost lost my tickets once because a friend of a friend came to the game (We had 4 tickets) and we never saw him again after the 1st quarter. We waited for him in the parking lot after the game and he never showed up. I'm still not sure I know the complete story, but he ended up getting kicked out, plus got either arrested or PC'd. I got a call that week from the head of security, because they found the ticket stub on him. After a conversation with him I told him I would be more careful who attended the games. Due to the fact we hadn't had any previous incidents we were given a 2nd chance, but I was told if anything else happened we would lose our tickets! Needless to say if any of us 4 regulars couldn't make a game, we were much more careful who we took with us! :nono:
yeah just about every stadium you go to you will get that drunk loudmouth thats going to trash you n start a fight.

In speaking with people at the game yesterday they said the vikings fans were obnoxious and provoking guys in the tailgates. They said worst road team fans this year. So lets not just dump on eagles fans for a few stupid actions of some fans. Dodgers fans have brawls all the time as do Raiders fans. If you go to the linc just mind your own business and you?ll be fine.
We took in a Preseason Eagles game a couple years back with zero issues. My son was in full EAGLES attire and the Pats fans were very gracious in defeat.....We had a great experience at Gillette enjoyed playful banter back and forth with Pats Fans but can see how things can get out of hand especially after a few adult beverages.....:0008
I saw some drunk idiot got arrested for punching a horse and a the cop riding the horse. Was that the article? And that was 3 hrs before kickoff. What an idiot.
I did. I saw some eagles fans heaving bottles and cups at Viking fans walking by. Is that ok? No it?s not. You should be able to go to a sporting event supporting the team of your choice without having to worry about that. Also heard some say the eagles fans pissed all over the wall and it was like a flowing river.
Watched an interview with a couple Viking fans and they seemed to make light of the situation.
How much of this goes on at other nfl stadiums before a championship game? I really don?t know because I haven?t been to any.
I guarantee you there are way more normal Eagle fans out there rather than what you are seeing in those videos.
Honestly BP You can?t Justify that behavior in anyway shape or form. I get your perspective that some of these fans don?t deserve a championship, but what about the players and coaches and their families that are leaving everything on the field in practice and games? Those are the guys that are going to get crowned with the championship not the people in the stands.
They were carrying banners saying "fuck millie." also they went to social media and said they hoped millie dies blah blah blah. plus several fans had their hats thrown in urinals. The guy in charge of vikings broadcast said philly was the worst and advised all opponent fans to stay away
Maybe it?s just a product of environment type of thing. I really don?t know what to say. I don?t live in Philly and never have. I don?t condone that behavior at all. When you said you don?t want to see them win because of the fans maybe it should have said some of the fans. I know a ton that aren?t anything like that
