I had a better day on Tuesday. I hope the dodgers -135 helped somebody out there. Overall, I was 3 for 5 on my Tuesday plays. As you know, I will continue to list one fav. pick (the game I'm personally going heavy on) and one underdog pick (gives back a better payout but a longer shot). The dodgers fav. pick brought me to 2-2 since joining madjack and the freakin blown save in the Marlins game put me at 0-4 on my underdog picks.
So here it is for WEDNE$DAY:
FAV PICK= BRAVES - 165
UNDERDOG PICK: MARINERS + 145
The thinking behind both games is that if either Seattle or Atlanta want to have a chance to compete as an outside shot, they both have to win tomorrow. If Atlanta loses another full game to Philly then you can kiss their season good-bye. The Mariners went from being the favorite in the AL Wildcard and contending for their division, to losing 9 of the last 10 and almost completely dropping out of the race in less than a 2 week span. You have to like the pitching match-ups in both games, although Hudson is coming off a beat down to the surging Mets. Atlanta is home where Hudson is strong, and the Mariners are in NY, where Yankee pitcher Phil Hughes, is worse in front of his home crowd. He has only lasted an average of 4.2 innings in the 4 games pitched at home. gl to everyone
