sifting through all the touts,sharps and bat guano for some sexeh picks,commentary and spleen venting.......and maybe even a white-knuckle toilet experience or two.....

i opine that the books expect the bettors to do well in week one....they prefer it....setting suckers up for the real hammer later on in the season.....nobody wants the mark to get too discouraged right out of the gate....
1)sooo.....i`m 6 point teasing seattle and san diego ....i just don`t see grossman,this early on,having much of a shot vs this "d"....
throw in possibly the most well balanced offense in the game at home and it looks bleak for da` bears,imo....sometimes it is what it is...
i expect the same from the seahags...tampa bay in waaayy over their heads...
2)small plays on the skins -2.5 or 3(depending on your line)...this defense is gonna surprise a bit..blue collar......and the one-two running game of portis and betts(betts may actually be better)will be very strong..
joe gibbs finally has some of the pieces to play joe gibbs football...
3)bungles-2.5....the ravens offense will just never be prolific under billick...that`s just a fact....love mcnair....but clayton ain`t as good as baltimorons think he is...demetrius williams IS...but still doesn`t start......
the ravens def. backfield has names,but they take to many chances...and are weak in coverage at one corner and one safety spot...bad news vs palmer and those receivers...
adalius thomas will be greatly missed....
ogden injured?..who knows..if he is,they will be starting 2 green o`lineman.... ..ngata with a dinged up knee....magahee didn`t impress in pre-season...he looks like a 3.5 ypc carry guy(as advertised)....
3)philly-2.5 or 3....i always take mcnabb and philly on the road...they almost always play better away....i know g.b.`s seen as a dark horse....they`ll have to show me...
4)the "das is uber stupid scheisskopf play, ja?" stunner of the weekend:
no run defense...no qb.......jamal lewis is crap.....that`s right,it`s the clowns on the moneyline....
the chin`s gone....and the squeelers will be swabbing the poopdeck this weekend....
